Mind for Sport

We use our mind in everything we do and sport is no different. As an athlete progresses, it is often their mindset that will define how successful they are in competition. Sport psychology helps athletes, teams and coaches understand how their mind works and how it can impact performance.

Here at mind for performance we teach psychological skills that help individuals and teams manage their thoughts and emotions so that they can perform at the highest level. We offer individual sessions and group workshops to help athletes, teams and coaches optimise their psychological approach to training and to the competitive performance.

We have significant experience and expertise in working with adolescents and adults from lots of different types of sports and at a variety of levels. Sports that we have worked with include rugby, football, tennis, golf, swimming, skiing, figure skating, rowing and many more.

Jess’s eye-opening presentation has been invaluable in providing me with the knowledge around why we often behave the way we do in stressful situations, and the tools to improve as a coach.
